MLB and Opening day in Japan? Will it Blend?

MLB and Opening day in Japan? Will it Blend? This is not your Fathers Opening Day, and I hope it is not your sons Opening Day. This is a real bad idea. The Red Sox are playing the Oakland A’s in Japan. Players are getting hurt from the arduous 17 hour flights. People in America have to wake up in the wee hours in the morning to watch a baseball game. Worst of all, it destroys the mystique of Opening Day.
Opening Day should be a National Holliday. It should not be a Japanese side show. Fathers should be getting their sons out of school to buy them a Fenway/Wrigley hotdog. They should not turn off their sons cartoons so they can check out the score while they eat cereal together.
My point is proven metaphorically by this next video. MLB can blend Baseball with anything but the outcome is a mess. Leave my game alone Bud Selig.

I saw a similar post about this on another blog so it just goes to show you that it is a small world after all (I hate that Disney ride).
