Why Americans Do Not Like Soccer, Video, Soccer Bloopers. The first 13 seconds of the video explains why Americans do not like soccer. I am not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings, but I am sure that will happen.
Soccer is a sports where flopping is an art form. Americans only like to see flopping in basketball, and we do not like to see too much of it. We label players as floppers and lose respect for them. We understand that flopping is a necessary evil, but it appears that soccer players think that flopping is a vital part of the game.
