Why Americans respect Rugby, Rugby Hits Video. Americans do not understand Rugby. We are not sure how they score and why you can kick the ball and run with it. Finding out the rules would take effort. We are too lazy to read the whole Rugby rule book, but we respect the game. We respect a ” Scrum“, even though we do not know why you do it.
