Michael Jordan, I want to be like Mike, Commercial. This is the classic Michael Jordan Gatorade commercial. This is arguably the best ad campaign in the history of marketing. They have Michael Jordan, most popular athlete in the world. Michael Jordan is advertising an athletic drink. The product is great. We all love Gatorade. The song ties it all together. I am 28 so I grew up with this song in my head. This video is the full 1 minute version.
I showed up to school and kids and teachers were talking about it. I did not see the commercial much but I heard the song all the time. Someone was singing it or it was on the radio. When I was playing basketball, I wanted to be like Mike. Looking back at the commercial, I remember the old HUGE glass bottles. Thanks Gatorade. I finished my drink, now I can cut a hole in the metal lid and start my college fund.
