ESPN SportsCenter Commercial, Scott Van Pelt Slump, Study the Tape with Rollins. This is my favorite Scott Van Pelt SportsCenter Commercial. It is also on the shortlist for my favorite SportsCenter Commercials ever. Everything he says is flat out funny. “That was a poor effort” ” I am embarrassed” seem like normal phrases, and they are. When he says them, with his comedic timing, it is gold. I also love the commercials when they add a big name. Jimmy Rollins fits the bill nicely.
