Soccer Cheerleader Hit in the Face, Video. The game was Heidenheim vs. Wolfsburg . I have no idea why there are cheerleaders at soccer matches. As if being a cheerleader for a soccer team is not depressing enough. Imagine how unrewarding it is. They only score 1-3 times and the cheerleaders cheer for 90+ minutes. To top it off this poor little girl gets hit in the face with a soccer ball. Sad Sad Sad.
