USA Basketball Team Wins Gold, Video, 2008 Olympics. They were dubbed the redeem team, and I think they did that and more. I do not think they could have beaten the Dream Team, but they are the closest thing we have ever seen. The USA Men’s Basketball team beat Spain 107-118 to get the Gold Medal. Check out the game. It was close at times, but team USA pulled away at the last and looked in control most of the game.
My question to the reader is this. If the Dream Team was the best team ever, is this the second best team ever?
