The Crab Dribble Explained Several Times, Videos. The term “Crab Dribble” is new to even the most avid basketball fans. David Aldridge is proof in the video below. I have looked at it several times. The reason it is so controversial is because a lot of people were watching that game, it involved the NBA’s golden boy LeBron James, and it was for the win.
Here we see a host of analysts talk about the move, LeBron, Butler, and Jamison. They all have something to say, but only LeBron is 100% convinced that it was not a travel. What do I think? I think it is borderline, and you should never try to do it on a game winning move. If you put the ref in that position, he will always call it.
