Jodie Meeks 54 points, Breaks Kentucky Scoring Record, Video. Wow! In the LONG/LEGENDARY history of Kentucky basketball, no one has scored 54 points in a single game. He Broke Dan Issel’s single game scoring record of 53. He did it during SEC conference play. It was not some patsy Ohio Valley Conference team. Jodie Meeks did it on Tennessee’s home court. This is the stuff legends are made of. My father in law talks about watching Pistol Pete play, and I will talk about Meeks’ 54 points.
On a slightly funny note, why is there a band playing Rocky Top during the interview? HELLO! Yall just got PWNED!
