Amputee Kyle Maynard, First MMA Fight, Video. You may recognize the name from ‘Real Sports’, which profiled Maynard a while back. The 23-year-old Maynard was born with congenital amputation, which left him with arms that end at the elbows and legs that end near his knees. He’s a wrestler, an ESPY winner and hopes to compete in the 2012 Olympics in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial arts form that is expected to be added for the 2012 games.
