Adrian Peterson 75 Yard TD Run, NFL Preseason Week 3, Video. The NFL’s leading rusher stepped right into this game and scored a touchdown on his first play. They are paying Brett Favre $12 Mill to hand off to A.P. You have got to love America folks. Chester Taylor is also a great running back and he scored on a simple screen later in the game. Last year, the Jets tended to forget about their running backs and probably could have won more games and helped Favre’s shoulder if they would have had a better memory. If Peterson and Taylor keep this up, Favre will be picking apart defenses all year, and maybe this year he won’t get hurt.
