The Immaculate Interception, Kenny Phillips, Giants vs Cowboys, Video. Tony Romo threw 3 interceptions during their 31-33 SNF loss to the Giants, and this was one of them. The ball goes off Whitten’s finger tips and the back of his shoe and into the arms of Kenny Phillips. The run back for a touch down did not count. I think the NFL needs to work on the rule, or they need to wait longer to blow their whistle, because Phillips deserved the TD.
This set up a Giants touchdown right before the half.
